Some things you should remember if you are scheduled
for an injection:

Please do not eat or drink for 6 hours prior to your procedure. This includes gum, mints, etc.

If you have to take medication, take it with sips of water.

You must have a licensed driver with you at the time of your procedure. You will not be able to drive after your procedure.

Plan on sedentary activity the day of your procedure. Ask for specific instructions from your doctor.

When you improve, please use common sense and gradually increase your activity.

Some patients experience increased pain for 24- to 48-hours after an injection.
